He has a vast experience in electronic media dating back to the early 90's when the company carried out a worldwide study on electronic publishing for the European Commission. For many years he was involved in developing e-business strategies for international corporations such as IKEA, Lufthansa, Audi etc.

Prior to his academic and entrepreneurial activities Thomas Laukamm was Executive Vice President of the Bertelsmann Media Group and Director Strategy Consulting with Arthur D. Little, International.
